Welcome to MIS 2012 Course

Course description


The course introduces the concepts of data and information processing and systems viewed from a contemporary management perspective. The course emphasizes on uses and applications as well as emerging managerial issues with the potential to reshape the form and function of information systems. The main topics covered in this course include:
  • Organizations, management and the networked enterprise
  • Information technology, infrastructure, platforms and telecommunications
  • Systems development and management, managing global systems
  • Applications for the digital firm, including e-business and e-commerce

+ 120 mins = 60 mins (for 40 MCQ)   + 60 mins (for 5 essay questions)

Project presentation order


Due to a large number of groups in our class, I have reduced some requirements as follow:

Each group presentation is STRICTLY 25 mins max. Focus on the main issues of your answers.
No need for:
1. extra materials (video clips,...)
2. overview of the case
Please go straight to your answers!

The order of your major project presentation will be the same as the order of your case study presentation as follow:
